Preparing for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ

“Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”  (Luke 10:25)

Is there heaven, what's the truth?

Yes, heaven is real just as hell is real. Jesus Christ said (Luke 17:3) Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will keep it. This simply means, people who focus mainly on the earthly life, will not know about the heavenly life. If you don’t know about the heavenly life, how can you enter the Kingdom of Heaven? He also said this (Colossians 3:3) For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. This means death is not the end, your life will continue, “After Life.”

While earthly life is temporary, your soul will live forever. When God formed Adam, he didn’t come alive until God blew his spirit into Adam’s nostril (Genesis 2:7). Therefore, your soul is even more important than your physical body because it is the spirit that gives you life.

Some people may not be aware that God created everything on earth with an intended purpose. All living things on earth’s life do not end. A flower, for example, comes to bloom in the spring, then withers away in the fall, leaving behind seeds to start the cycle of life again in the following year.

While everyone’s body will decay and become one with the earth again, your soul will enter heaven or hell. The very reason God is giving many people visions and dreams in the last days, urging everyone to get ready for the Second Coming of the Lord, so that no one perishes in the everlasting fire, a place of torment, hell. Many Bible verses describe this place (Luke 13:28) “There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth. Gnashing means grinding teeth from excruciating pain.

Just because people don’t believe there is heaven and hell doesn’t mean they don’t exist. It is real, and Jesus Christ talked about such places, especially hell, found in the Holy Bible. A video about after-earthly life experiences is provided below. To see heaven’s testimony, go to Youtube and type “NDE (Near Death Experience) of Heaven.”

Those who visited heaven all say it is a glorious place of beauty with bright lights and a brilliant spectrum of colors not found on earth. They also say they feel overwhelming love, while hell is just the opposite. Hell is a place of never-ending torment and torture; darkness abounds; excruciating pain, suffering, and horrific screaming from all the pains; the melting of the flesh; all kinds of revolting bugs devouring the flesh. To endure this kind of affliction for eternity is unimaginable. What they say, though,  the worst pain is the feeling of separation from God.

Please accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior to enter heaven. God said you must keep your heart and body PURE, stay away from all evil, and wear the Armour of God. We can’t live a sinless life, but we must live righteously and strive for a Christ-like life. Making a habit of repenting right away whenever sin is committed.

All Christians should be sanctified. To learn more about sanctification, go to Prepare/Salvation. But if you are still living on earth before the Lord comes, endure until the very end, then you will be saved (Matthew 24:21). When the time comes, you will be given a new body and live in the New World with God on earth. Go to the main page to learn more!

These are Bible verses relevant to heavenly life.

(John 11:25-27) I Am the Resurrection and the Life
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” She said to him, “Yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is coming into the world.”

(Here, Jesus Christ is talking to Mary, when her brother Lazarus died, he is telling her believe in God and her brother will live once more. He is also saying anyone who believes in him will never perish but ever lasting eternal life).

(John 3:5-14) You Must Be Born Again To Enter Heaven
Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

(In order to enter heaven, one has to be baptized with water, if possible, then they are reborn again. The end of old life and start with new by living in the Christ. Then the earthly desires will fade away, as you are strengthened in the spirit and in faith growing stronger in the Christ, this will bring many revelation about God and his plans).

(John 3:13-14) Testimony of Jesus Christ Concerning Heaven
No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up.

(This is the prediction about the Lord that he came from heaven but he will die on the cross, resurrect, then ascend back to heaven once more)

(Acts 1:9-12) Jesus Christ Ascended into The Heaven
And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven”

(People were watching Jesus Christ ascend to heaven, then the two angels in human form told the onlookers, don’t worry, Jesus Christ will come to earth once more, this is indication of second coming of Jesus Christ).

(1 Peter 3:18-22) God Prepared Us The Way To Heaven
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit, in which he went and proclaimed to the spirits in prison, because they formerly did not obey, when God’s patience waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through water. Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to him.

(Apostle Peter, one of disciples of Jesus Christ is talking here saying, unlike the day of Noah, God showed mercy only to eight people, Noah’s family and certain amount of animals because he wanted to rid the world of all kinds of evil, especially the giants. However, I believe God regrets this act, he did promise never to drown the world with water again, as an assurance, a rainbow is always formed after the rain. So this is the reason God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, who came to earth suffering tremendously for our sake; never sinned, yet taking away our sin by the death on the cross. By his sacrifice, believing in him and the resurrection, and living the righteous life, anyone can enter the kingdom of heaven).
