Preparing for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ

“I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”  (John 10:11)

Understanding the Holy Trinity!

The Holy Trinity is God (Heavenly Father), The Son (Jesus Christ), and The Holy Spirit – They are all God, three different people, but working together as ONE.

Heavenly Father is the Creator of all things. The ability to reach God is only through Jesus Christ, which is what this scripture means (John 14:6) Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Repentance is necessary before presenting in front of God. It is the act of cleansing and purifying sins by submission of confession. The HOLY BLOOD of Jesus Christ is the only way sins can be washed away.

Sin separates you from God!

(Micah 3:4) Then you beg the Lord for help in times of trouble! Do you really expect him to answer? After all the evil you have done, he won’t even look at you!”

It is impossible for a person to change on your own. People often struggles with sin because they do not have the presence of the Holy Spirit. The transformation is achievable because of the power of the Holy Spirit and sanctificationThe Holy Spirit reveals who is Jesus Christ, allowing you to feel the love of the Lord, giving you assurance God is indeed alive and real.

Does the Holy Spirit live within a person right away?

No he does not. However, there are several ways a person can receive the Holy Spirit.

1) Ask someone with great faith to pray over you and touch you.

2) As a person’s faith grows, Jesus Christ will fill you with the Holy Spirit.

3) You can also pray and ask Jesus Christ to baptize you with the Holy Spirit. Then one day, it will happen!

1) Who is God?

He is our Heavenly Father because he created all of us, including everything in the universe, seen and unseen. No one has seen God at any given time, but he can be described like the sun bright, but brighter. He can light up the universe and beyond. (1 Timothy 6:16) who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see. To him be honor and eternal dominion. The video below provides great detail of who is God.

2) Who is The Son of God, Jesus Christ?

He is God's most precious Son in this whole wide world. But God had to sacrifice his Son to save all of us from the damnation of Hell. He showed us how to live a life of purity, loving one another, being kind to everyone, and having compassion towards the needy and the weak; mostly, we are to forgive those who have wronged or caused harm in the past. Jesus Christ's love for us is without a doubt, tremendous! The video below is Dr. Jordan Peterson speaking about the great sacrifice of Jesus Christ, our Lord, who is like a very gentle and kind lamb. To go through such horrific torture is simply unthinkable. I hope you will watch the video and learn in great length what true love really means.

3) Who is The Holy Spirit?

He is a comforter/helper/TEACHER, who lives within a person. You learn how to become a good Christian by following his guidance. He convicts you of all sins, helping you to turn away from them. The Holy Spirit gives you an understanding of many things concerning life; even your ability to understand the Bible scriptures is heightened. This is all due to the power of the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit lives within a person, it is important not to grieve him by continuing to live a sinful lifestyle. As you mature as a Christian, if you return to the old way of life, the Holy Spirit will leave. However, often this is rare because when you build an excellent relationship with God, your love for God outweighs anything else.

After Jesus Christ was resurrected, all eleven disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit. But, before the Lord was arrested, he told the disciples a time would come soon when he would not be with them. They were troubled, so Jesus Christ comforted them, even at the last hour and said, (John 14:16-17) ""you will not be alone, I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, he is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees him nor knows him." (John 14:26) But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

John the Baptist spoke about the Holy Spirit, he said, (Matthew 3:11) "I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. (Acts 2:38) Each one of you must turn from sin, return to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; then you also shall receive this gift, the Holy Spirit. For Christ promised him to each one of you who has been called by the Lord our God, and to your children and even to those in distant lands!”

Acts 2:38 reveals that to be filled with the Holy Spirit, one must be willing to put in the effort to turn away from sins, then one day as your faith increases and your hunger and desire to know God more and more, this is when Jesus Christ will baptize a person with the blessing of the Holy Spirit

Did Jesus Christ really live here on earth at one time?

Yes, when you look at the ancient history period timeline, it is divided into BC and AD. The BC stands for Before Christ and AD stand for After Death; however, he didn’t really perish, he was resurrected. After the resurrection, he was seen by more than 500 of his followers, including the disciples (1 Corinthians 15:6).

But some doubted, like Thomas, so Jesus said, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe” (John 20:27).

They forgot this is the same Lord they spend time, eye-witnessing firsthand many miracles, such as healing the sick, driving out demons, turning water into wine, and feeding thousands of people with a few loaves of bread and fish.

Satan tried to tempt the Lord at one time but failed terribly. He lived a pure and blameless life, a true example for everyone to follow. (1 timothy 3:16) It is quite true that the way to live a godly life is not an easy matter. But the answer lies in Christ, who came to earth as a man, was proved spotless and pure in his Spirit, was served by angels, was preached among the nations, was accepted by men everywhere, and was received up again to his glory in heaven.

Jesus Christ who knew no sin suffered terribly, because of humanity!

Yes, he was whipped 41 times. This was revealed to me by the Holy Spirit. The Lord was whipped by what’s called a flagrum, consisting of braided leather thongs with metal balls and pieces of sharp bone woven into or intertwined with the braids. The balls added weight to the whip, causing deep bruising as the victim was struckThe pieces of bone served to cut into the flesh. As the beating continued, the resulting cuts were so severe that the skeletal muscles, underlying veins, sinews, and bowels of victims were exposed

Some people did not survive the beating because it was so severe. As a result of enduring such agonizing torture, blood flowed from him when he cried or sweat. His body was completely broken, and he wasn’t able to carry the cross; therefore, Simon Peter carried it for him. Then finally, the nails were hammered into his hand and feet, causing suffering even further. Just before the Lord perished (John 19:30) He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. Soon after, (Matthew 27:51) the veil of the Temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split.

Jesus Christ foresaw his future, just like God (our heavenly Father), the Lord can see the past, present, and future. What he saw was terrifying, so Jesus cried out to God (Mark 14:36)  And he said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

Imagine Jesus Christ, the Son of the Most High, King over all things, having to endure such gruesome punishment and also humiliation that he did not deserve. The crowd spit on him, threw things at the Lord, and shouted, “persecute him.” These are the same people who followed the Lord during his ministry. He even fed some of them.

Why did God sent him to earth?

Someone had to pay for the SINS of humanity. Our Lord, Jesus Christ was the sacrificial lamb.

(John 3:16) God sacrificed His own son to save all human race.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God sacrificial his precious son to atone for our sin. By the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, by his blood the sins of humanity, allow us to reconcile with God. Believing that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation, and that salvation will be for those who believe in his life and death of resurrection.

(1 timothy 2:5) Jesus Christ is the mediator between God and us.

who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time. For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

(John 14:6) Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness.

(John 14:11) Jesus Christ represents God.
Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves.

(John 16:8-9) Since Jesus Christ is the Son of God, it is sin not to believe in Him.
And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: concerning sin, because they do not believe in me.
