Preparing for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ

The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;  idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.  (Galatians 5:19-21)

How did Adam and Eve sin?

Sin was first introduced when God created the very first two humans, Adam and Eve.

Who are Adam and Eve?
They were the first two humankind ever created by God. (Genesis 1:27) So God created Adam in his image, in the image of God he created him; Adam and Eve he created them. Adam (Genesis 2:7) formed of the dust of the ground, and God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul. This is why people often say, “dust to dust, ashes to ashes.” Then God created animals and said (Genesis 1:26) let Adam have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. There are those who believe in the notion of evolution/Darwinism. Humans are far superior than animals. Science proves God’s work to be factual through the evidence of DNA, what is DNA?

As you can see, everyone has a soul that gives life. We are all a long line of descendants of Adam and Eve. (Genesis 3:20) Adam called his wife Eve because she was the mother of all living. Also, not only did Adam come up with his wife’s name, but he also gave names to all the animals. So it appears Adam was highly intelligent and creative. (Genesis 2:19) Now out of the ground, the Lord God had formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them.

When did sin start?
When God created Adam and Eve, they were immortal until sin was introduced. They lived in the Garden of Eden, a place of paradise with many beautiful trees, flowers, animals, and an abundance of food. God’s goodness is boundless, providing everything they ever needed to live a joyous and happy life having freedom without any restrictions.

God first created Adam, later came the animals, and God told Adam to be the steward taking care of all things and ruling over them. God, who provides all of our needs (Philippians 4:19) did not stop there. He also created a female human companion and formed Eve. Here is something important to point out; God created Eve using a rib of Adam. Adam would be part of Eve, and Eve would be part of Adam. When they came together, they would become ONE FLESH (Genesis 2:24), thereby helping one another, working together as a team and in sync. However, when sin took hold, instead of protecting one another; sadly, they turned against each other. But God created them to be a team, so where did it go wrong? Who is the influencer?  See scriptures below!

(James 1:17)

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. THIS WILL NEVER CHANGE.

 (John 8:44)

The DEVIL LIES it is consistent with his character; for HE is a LIAR and the FATHER OF LIES

Before sin occurred, God did warn them and said, (Genesis 2:17) do not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. The meaning here is symbolic, not literal. They committed something evil; thereby, sin was introduced. The death God is talking about is immortality, as they were once immortal until sin took hold of both. The darkness would fall upon not only human beings but animals too. They, too would suffer from the consequences of humans.

The Bible further explains among all the other animals, the serpent was the craftiest of them all. Was God truly speaking about the serpent or something else? The serpent tricked Eve and said (Genesis 3:4-5) eat the forbidden fruit“You will not surely die. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God.” After taking the bite out of the forbidden fruit, they soon became KNOWING, good and evil, hiding from God because of their shame.

Then the Lord said unto the woman, (Genesis 3:13) What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. God became very angry and vanished them from the Garden of Eden. As you can see, the devil has been sinning from the very beginning. (1 John 3:8) As a consequence, many people have been turning away from God throughout the centuries, choosing to follow the ways of Satan. The very reason why the world is corrupt with much sufferings without any hope in sight. While there is no hope on earth, the only true hope is in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the way to truth and the life, The very reason why the world is corrupt, with much suffering with no end. There is no hope on earth, only Jesus Christ, who suffered horribly to save the human race. Learn about Jesus Christ and who is the Holy Trinity

Two men in the Bible never sinned and never faced death; they were Enoch and Elijah.
Two men in the Bible never sinned and never faced death; they were Enoch and Elijah. There was a man named Enoch, son of Jared, who lived before Noah’s flood. He was always good, so God favored him. When he became an old man one day (Genesis 5:24) God took him. Enoch never faced death. Similarly, there was one more person named (2 Kings 2:11) Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. Elisha, also a prophet, eye-witnessed the miraculous event and cried out, (2 Kings 2:12) “My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!” And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his garment and tore it in two.

Enoch and Elijah were exceptional, and no one can possibly live up to their standard; however, as Christians, striving to live righteously and Christ-like life is important. The Lord said, (Matthew 11:29) “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”

Pray and REPENT continuously without CEASING, this is what God wants from everyone!
Even after removing many sins, you will still sin from time to time. When this happens, you must repent quickly because no one knows your last day or the hour on earth. What does the Bible say about un-repented sinners? (Romans 2:5-6)

But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. God “will repay each person according to what they have done. Furthermore, when you have sins, you unintentionally allow the door to open wide for demons to enter.  (Ephesians 4:26-27)“ don’t sin by letting anger control you.”Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil. God will never condemn you for your sins, this is not God’s way.

(Romans 8:1) So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. However, the devil does want you to feel ashamed, which will cause you to fall away from God. The Holy Spirit is gentle, encouraging, and always hopeful, wishing you to change to better your life because sins cause ailments, depression, hopelessness, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and even tragic death. Break free from the bondage of sins by sanctification and find freedom in Christ

God’s unfailing promises?
(Matthew 7:7-11) Ask, and It Will Be Given
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

Why do prayers not come true for some people? Then you have to ask this question, “are you living righteously? Have you repented of all your sins?” You see, sin separates you from God! (Psalm 66:18)

What are considered sin?
(Colossians 3:5-11) Focusing on Only The Earthly Things
So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. Because of these sins, the anger of God is coming. You used to do these things when your life was still part of this world. But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language. Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds. Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him. In this new life , it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.

(1 John 3:4-10) Lawlessness / Don’t Become The Children of The Devil
Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. You know that he appeared in order to take away sins, and in him there is no sin. No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him. Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous. Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s[a] seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God. By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.

Sexual Immoralities
(Romans 1:24-27) Homosexualism
So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.

How do you live a Christ-like life?
By following the teaching by Jesus Christ found in the New Testament and keeping our eyes on him, remembering his sacrifice and his love for everyone. Your inner strength will come from keeping this knowledge in your heart. Also, the Lord said, (1 John 5:3) for this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. Those who knows God, he represents love (1 John 4:8).

(Colossians 3:14-15)  Put on Love
And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

(Matthew 5:43-48)  Love for Enemies
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

(Ephesians 5:1-14)  Let There Be No Filthiness
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must NOT even be named among you, as is proper among saints. Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous, has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light.

(1 John 3:23-24)   Love One Another
And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.

(Ephesians 6:13-18)  Wearing The Armor of Righteousness
Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

(1 Thessalonians 5:15-22)  Living Without Evil
See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.  Do not quench the Spirit.  Do not despise prophecies, but test everything; hold fast what is good.  Abstain from every form of evil.

Encouraging and important scriptures to live by.
(John 3:16)
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

(James 2:14) Faith without Good Deeds Is Dead
What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone?

(Matthew 6:14-16)
For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

(1 Thessalonians 5:15-22) Living Without Evil and Seek To Do Good
See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone.

(Ephesians 6:12) Fighting The Principalities of The Devils
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

(1 Timothy 1:14-17) Jesus Christ is patient and love us
and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life. To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever.

(Proverbs 3:5)  Trust in the Lord
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

(Revelation 3:20)  Jesus Christ Does Not Segregate Anyone
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.

(Romans 2:11) We are all equal in the eyes of the Lord

God, you see, shows no partiality.

Any kind of illness can be caused by demons, as a result of sin or generational sin.

One night when Jesus Christ went to visit Peter, multitudes came to see the Lord wanting to be healed from all kinds of illnesses, diseases, mental illnesses, and people who were demon possessed. The Lord healed them all! (Matthew 8:16-17) That evening they brought to him many who were oppressed by demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick. This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: “He took our illnesses and bore our diseases.”

(Matthew 8:28-34)  Two demon possessed men are cured.
And when he came to the other side, to the country of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men met him, coming out of the tombs, so fierce that no one could pass that way. And behold, they cried out, “What have you to do with us, O Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?” Now a herd of many pigs was feeding at some distance from them. And the demons begged him, saying, “If you cast us out, send us away into the herd of pigs.” And he said to them, “Go.” So they came out and went into the pigs, and behold, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the waters. The herdsmen fled, and going into the city they told everything, especially what had happened to the demon-possessed men. And behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus, and when they saw him, they begged him to leave their region.

(Matthew 9:1-8)  Jesus heals a paralytic.
And getting into a boat he crossed over and came to his own city. And behold, some people brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven.” And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming.” But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts? For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Rise and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he then said to the paralytic—”Rise, pick up your bed and go home.” And he rose and went home. When the crowds saw it, they were afraid, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

(Matthew 9:18-26)  A girl is restored to life and a woman healed.
While he was saying these things to them, behold, a ruler came in and knelt before him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.” And Jesus rose and followed him, with his disciples. And behold, a woman who had suffered from a discharge of blood for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment, for she said to herself, “If I only touch his garment, I will be made well.” Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, “Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And instantly the woman was made well. And when Jesus came to the ruler’s house and saw the flute players and the crowd making a commotion, he said, “Go away, for the girl is not dead but sleeping.” And they laughed at him. But when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. And the report of this went through all that district.

(Matthew 9:32-34)  Jesus heals a man who was unable to speak.
As they were going away, behold, a demon-oppressed man who was mute was brought to him. And when the demon had been cast out, the mute man spoke. And the crowds marveled, saying, “Never was anything like this seen in Israel.” But the Pharisees said, “He casts out demons by the prince of demons.”

(Matthew 15:22) Demon possessed girl is healed.
A Gentile woman who lived there came to him, pleading, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! For my daughter is possessed by a demon that torments her severely.”

(Mark 9:17-18)  Possessed by an evil spirit is released.
One of the men in the crowd spoke up and said, “Teacher, I brought my son so you could heal him. He is possessed by an evil spirit that won’t let him talk. And whenever this spirit seizes him, it throws him violently to the ground. Then he foams at the mouth and grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. So I asked your disciples to cast out the evil spirit, but they couldn’t do it.”

(Mark 9:20-27) The demon tried to take a boy’s life
So they brought the boy. But when the evil spirit saw Jesus, it threw the child into a violent convulsion, and he fell to the ground, writhing and foaming at the mouth. “How long has this been happening?” Jesus asked the boy’s father. He replied, “Since he was a little boy. The spirit often throws him into the fire or into water, trying to kill him. Have mercy on us and help us, if you can.”

“What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!” When Jesus saw that the crowd of onlookers was growing, he rebuked the evil spirit. “Listen, you spirit that makes this boy unable to hear and speak,” he said. “I command you to come out of this child and never enter him again!”

Then the spirit screamed and threw the boy into another violent convulsion and left him. The boy appeared to be dead. A murmur ran through the crowd as people said, “He’s dead.” But Jesus took him by the hand and helped him to his feet, and he stood up.
