What is sin?

Sin

Sin is the result of cause & effect.

Sin can be explained in this way. When God, our Heavenly Father, created the world, a natural order occurred – cause and effect.

When we do good deeds, it comes back to us. Likewise, when we harm others or do evil deeds, like a curse, it comes back to us as well. This is what sin means!

We are inherently good because we are not only created in the image of God, but our good attributes come from him. God is Holy and Righteous, so evil does not come from Him. However, on earth, there is a dark force that dominates over all of us; therefore, all humans have the ability to sin because sin is the evil within us all. Thus, the scripture correctly states,ย (1 John 1:8)ย If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

EXPLANATION ABOUT THE SCRIPTURE
Story about Adam and Eve, how sin was introduced to the very first two humans.

In Genesis 3, the serpent tempted Eve, falling under the serpent’s spell. His influence was great, who is the Father of all lies as indicated in this Bible passage:
(John 8:44)
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”

God, who is Omniscient, knew already what had happened, naturally. But, he wanted them to admit their own guilt, so he said, “Who told you that you were naked?โ€

Then all three of them turned against each other and blamed everyone but themselves. This alone in itself is sin, the greatest sin of all sins! When we do not take responsibility for our own actions, it is a spiral downward to a never-ending fall.

Sin is when we commit evil or have wicked thoughts. Even a white lie is a sin because a lie is a lie. Hatred, envy, vengeance, prejudice, malice, and so on are all sins, as you can see why we are all sinners. (๐Ÿญ ๐—๐—ข๐—›๐—ก ๐Ÿญ:๐Ÿด) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Sin is also like a curse; when you cause evil against someone, it comes right back to you one way or the other.

For example, during the Vietnam war, five soldiers rated a house. They raped a woman, then burned the house down with her husband. There are good and bad soldiers, but these men were evil.

After the war had ended, these men returned home, back to America. Then one day, they all decided to get together for reunion. They all drove in a same car and while driving home, they got into a horrific car accident, so they all died.

People couldn’t understand how they could have survived the war but died in the homeland, not knowing the darkness they hid within.

As a result of their sin from the past, it caught up with them.

Sin is also passed down from generation to generation, even to their own children. People complain and say, how can God cause cancer in an innocent child?

God has nothing to do with causing any child to be born deformed or with illness such as cancer. The cause is the result of the sins of the child’s parents.

To break this curse, Jesus Christ came to earth.ย (๐—š๐—”๐—Ÿ๐—”๐—ง๐—œ๐—”๐—ก๐—ฆ ๐Ÿฏ:๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฏ)ย When the Lord was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. Christ redeemed us from the curse.

The only way to break the curse that binds all of us is to accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, and REPENT, asking the Lord to change us. It is the only way to break the generation CURSE/SIN.

It is impossible for people to change, as we all know.(๐— ๐—”๐—ง๐—ง๐—›๐—˜๐—ช ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿต:๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ) But what is not possible with men, all is possible with Jesus Christ.

When Jesus Christ ๐—ง๐—ฅ๐—”๐—ก๐—ฆ๐—™๐—ข๐—ฅ๐— ๐—ฆ a person, two things take place:

  1. You find true joy, happiness, and PEACE, which only come from Jesus Christ, nowhere else on earth.

  2. You are no longer bound by Satan’s influence, a child of Satan rather a child of God. Therefore, you find salvation through Christ. Salvation means to prevent from going to hell.

At the same time, the reason so many people are experiencing anxiety, depression, demon attacks (today more than ever before), and loss of joy for life is because of sin.

True and long-lasting happiness is only found in Jesus Christ; like everything in life, this is one of many gifts from God.

Jesus Christ came to earth to break the curse that binds all of us, and save us from the work of Satan, who has influence over all of us. (๐Ÿญ ๐—๐—ข๐—›๐—ก ๐Ÿฏ:๐Ÿด) The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning.

Holy Bible

How sin started.

(New Living Translation Version)

One day, the serpent asked the woman, โ€œDid God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?โ€

โ€œOf course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,โ€ the woman replied. โ€œItโ€™s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, โ€˜You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.โ€™โ€

โ€œYou wonโ€™t die!โ€ the serpent replied to the woman. “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.โ€

The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too. At that moment their eyes were opened, and they suddenly felt shame at their nakedness. So they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves.

When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man and his wife heard the Lord God walking about in the garden. So they hid from the Lord God among the trees. Then the Lord God called to the man, โ€œWhere are you?โ€

He replied, โ€œI heard you walking in the garden, so I hid. I was afraid because I was naked.โ€

โ€œWho told you that you were naked?โ€ the Lord God asked. โ€œHave you eaten from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat?โ€

The man replied, โ€œIt was the woman you gave me who gave me the fruit, and I ate it.โ€Then the Lord God asked the woman, โ€œWhat have you done?โ€

โ€œThe serpent deceived me,โ€ she replied. โ€œThatโ€™s why I ate it.โ€
