What is soul?

Soul

Humans have two lives.

Towards the end of the Book (Genesis 2:7), vital information is provided about the human creation, Adam.

It shows that Adam didn’t come alive after God formed him, only until God blew his spirit into Adam’s nostril he become a living being, a living soul (King James Version).

So what does this mean?
We have two lives:
One is physical, which is tied to the earthly world.
The other is spiritual, bound to God because God blew his spirit into Adam, only then he came to life.

Therefore, while our physical body will decay by going back to earth, our spiritual body will ascend to heaven or descend to hell.

Where is the proof there is eternal life?
Two videos are provided on another post. I hope you will watch them.

  1. Post Titled: Plane Crash Survivor Discovers God Is Real.
It is about a man who survives an airplane crash; however, he is disfigured on one side of his face. After the crash, he had NDE at the hospital (Near Death Experience). His soul visited hell first, then heaven. He is a minister today, please watch his testimony.

  2. Post Titled: Scientists Finally Try to Explain Near-Death Experiences.
In this video, they call the eternal life “consciousness continues after physical death,” because they don’t understand the aspect of “soul.” Still, I wanted to provide evidence of the eternal life non-related to Christianity.

Holy Bible

Soul comes from God.

Genesis 2:1-6
New Living Translation (NLT)

So the creation of the heavens and the earth and everything in them was completed. On the seventh day God had finished his work of creation, so he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, because it was the day when he rested from all his work of creation.(The scripture shows how the jewish tradition Sabbath was formed)

This is the account of the creation of the heavens and the earth.

When the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, neither wild plants nor grains were growing on the earth. For the Lord God had not yet sent rain to water the earth, and there were no people to cultivate the soil. Instead, springs came up from the ground and watered all the land.

Genesis 2:7
(New Living Translation)
Then the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person.

(King James Version)
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
